Mandatory Registration Procedures to Conduct Global Business

Even though registration via NSIC is helpful for most of the entrepreneurs, small-scale and medium-scale companies to start their business, executives looking for global business require additional import-export code abbreviated as IEC.

Overview of the Code

As the name implies, import-export code is a 10-digit code, which comes with validity for the entire life. Predominantly, exporter merchants may not get benefits from the Director-General of Foreign Trade for their export schemes. In the same way, predominantly importer merchants fail to import their goods without possessing a suitable ICE code.

Cases, when a Business Needs Import Export Code

When a business importer requires clearing of his shipments from his/her customers, he/she needs ICE from customs’ authorities.
Import Export Code

If any exporter requires sending of shipment according to requirements of a custom port

Whenever an importer transfer money abroad via banks

If any exporter gets money in any of the foreign currencies directly in the bank account, the respective bank needs an ICE code.

Therefore, with the right codes and registration steps, you will expect to conduct your business operations and explore yourself as entrepreneurs in the industry of your choice.
